Almost every Indian business runs its accounts in TallyPrime, and TallyPrime lives on exactly one machine in the office. To know a party's balance, today's sales or whether a cheque cleared, someone has to be sitting at that PC. The owner travelling to a supplier, the partner at a different branch, the CA closing the books from their own office: all of them are locked out of the live numbers.
Nexvia Books fixes that without touching how Tally works. A tiny connector sits on the shop PC and reads your company data through Tally's own local gateway, then mirrors it to a private, encrypted cloud workspace. You open a normal web link on any phone or laptop and your books are right there: ledgers, the day book, stock, GST invoices, the Balance Sheet, P&L and Trial Balance.
And your Tally stays the source of truth. The app never edits your books on its own: the only thing that ever reaches Tally is an entry you explicitly record, validated against your own ledgers and posted as a proper voucher. Bill a customer from the shop floor, log a payment from the road, and it lands in Tally exactly as your accountant would have typed it.

Tally stays the source of truth
The app only posts entries you explicitly record, after validating them against your own ledgers. Nothing else ever writes a voucher, edits a ledger or touches a master: your books on the shop PC stay exactly as your accountant left them.
Server-backed PIN
Access to your workspace is gated by a PIN that's verified on the server, not just hidden in the browser. Every sign-in is email + password tied to a named person, and a 7-day device-locked trial keeps stray sessions out.
Per-workspace isolation
Every business gets its own walled-off workspace. Row-level security enforces it at the database, so one business's data can never appear in another's, even by accident.
You decide who sees what
Only people you invite into your workspace can see anything, and you control exactly what each of them sees and does, page by page. Give your CA just the statements, your staff just the day book, and remove anyone whenever you like.
Phone-first, app-light

Is it safe, does it change my Tally?
Your Tally stays the source of truth. The connector reads your TallyPrime data and mirrors it to your private cloud workspace, and the app only posts entries you explicitly record (a Sales, Purchase, Receipt or Payment voucher), after validating them against your own ledgers. Nothing else ever touches a voucher, ledger or master on the shop PC.
What do I need to run it?
TallyPrime running on a Windows PC with your company file open, plus our tiny connector installed on that same machine. The connector talks to Tally over its local
HTTP-XML gateway and pushes data to your secure workspace. That's the whole setup, and we help you get it running.Which devices can I read my books on?
Any phone or laptop with a browser. Nexvia Books is an installable PWA: add it to your home screen on iOS or Android and it opens like a native app. No app-store download, no separate desktop install, nothing to keep updated on your side.
Who can see my data?
Only people you invite to your workspace, and you control exactly what each person can see and do, page by page. Every workspace is isolated from every other one, access is gated by a server-backed PIN, and every sign-in is tied to a named person. How current is the data?
About two minutes behind your shop PC. The connector syncs roughly every two minutes while Tally is open, so the ledger you read on the train is essentially the one on the office screen.
Can my CA or accountant access it?
Yes, that's a big part of the point. Invite them to your workspace and they read your Balance Sheet, P&L, Trial Balance and ledgers without ever needing a live Tally session or a remote-desktop login into your office machine. You can remove their access whenever you like.
